Japanese Embassy in Athens

A special Gala Opening Concert at the Japanese Embassy marks 20 years of ESS shakuhachi activities. This concert include performances by teachers from the Summer School. Details of the programme will be announced nearer the time.

Parnassos Literary Society
Φιλολογικός Σύλλογος Παρνασσός
Another important location of the ESS Summer School in 2026 will be the Parnassos Literary Society in central Athens, located near the northern end of Syntagma neighbourhood. We will have the Friday and Saturday evening concerts In the prestigious Central Hall, which is renowned for its exceptional acoustics, attributed to the panels where chandeliers once hung before the building was electrified.
